With 28 years of teaching experience, including 18 years with the Calgary Board of Education and 10 years with Natosapi/Old Sun, Jacki is now semi-retired. She is a graduate of the University of Calgary and has taken graduate classes in library science at the University of Alberta. During her teaching career, she taught secondary school English and Social Studies, served as a teacher/librarian, and co-taught college-level English and Academic Writing.
Jacki currently provides tutoring to Natosapi/Old Sun post-secondary students on an as-needed basis. She moved to Gleichen in 1985, where she raised her family and continues to reside.
What Support Is Available?
Tutoring support is available for academic writing, research and note-taking, and APA-style formatting and citation.
Writing Support
Assistance with academic writing, essay structure, clarity, organization, and strengthening written assignments.
Research & Note-Taking
Support with research strategies, organizing information, taking useful notes, and preparing for assignments.
APA Formatting & Citation
Guidance with APA-style formatting, citation practices, references, and academic documentation.

Weekends, evenings, and weekdays by appointment.
